Prenatal Chiropractic

Chiropractic Care Preparing for Baby

Perinatal chiropractic care offers gentle, supportive care for the body during pregnancy and the postpartum period. This helps to optimize comfort, balance, and nervous system function while the body adapts to rapid change. As the pelvis and spine shift to accommodate a growing baby, care focuses on addressing tension and imbalances that may contribute to discomfort, mobility challenges, or added stress on the nervous system.

Using safe, pregnancy-specific techniques including the Webster technique, perinatal care may help support:

  • Pelvic balance and alignment
  • Reduce tension in low back, hips and pelvis
  • Improve posture and mobility
  • Promote better sleep through nervous system regulation
  • Encourage optimal positioning for both parent and baby
  • Overall comfort throughout pregnancy
At Blossom & Bloom Family Wellness, care is always adapted to the stage of pregnancy and individual needs of each patient.

Postpartum Chiropractic

Chiropractic Care Following Birth

The postpartum period is a time of incredible changes physically, emotionally, and mentally. As your body recovers from pregnancy and birth, chiropractic care can provide supportive, individualized care to help you feel more balanced and comfortable during this transition.

Many patients seek postpartum chiropractic care to support:

  • Pelvic and spinal balance after pregnancy and childbirth
  • Overall comfort and mobility as the body heals
  • Nervous system regulation during a physically demanding season
  • Postural support from feeding, carrying, and daily activities
  • A calm, supportive approach to postpartum recovery

Our approach uses stage-appropriate techniques tailored to your body and your birth experience. Whether you are newly postpartum or months into your recovery, chiropractic care can be a grounding part of your wellness routine.

At Blossom & Bloom Family Wellness, we believe postpartum care should feel nurturing, intentional, and empowering because caring for yourself and your baby matters.

Care for Your Newborn

Ask Us About Home Visits

We encourage families to consider having their baby gently checked in the early days after birth. Birth is a significant physical experience, and a gentle evaluation can help support, comfort and provide nervous system balance from the very beginning. For families who prefer care in the comfort of their own home, Dr. Lydia offers limited newborn home visits shortly after birth. This option allows both mom and baby to receive calm, supportive care during those early days of adjustment. Ask us about availability and how to schedule.
